The TRTCM is an interlocked safety guard for drilling and milling machines, designed and manufactured by Repar2.
How it works
The guard attaches to the upper spindle collar. It combines a fixed upper screen in steel with an adjustable lower screen in polycarbonate, giving a complete safety solution that meets current standards for safety-related parts of control systems. Because it is fixed to the spindle collar, it travels down with the spindle and always covers the chuck and the drill bit or cutting tool.
Which machines it fits
A key feature of the TRTCM is that it fixes straight onto a Bridgeport milling machine. With adaptors it can also be fitted to a wide range of other drilling and milling machines, which makes it an ideal choice for single-station Pollard drilling machines, for example.
