Together we specialise in updating older machinery so it meets the requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER 98). The process, step by step
- Risk assessment: TÃœV Nord certified machinery safety experts and NEBOSH-qualified professionals carry out a detailed PUWER machinery risk assessment of your machine or machines.
- Consultation: we work with you to design a solution that fits the specific needs of your business.
- Guarding and control design: we install a safety guard and control system design that complies with the Harmonised European Safety Norms (Standards).
- Integration: the safety solution is integrated into your machine’s control system in accordance with BS EN ISO 13849-1, ‘Safety related parts of Control Systems’.
- Training and handover: your operators are trained, and we complete a formal machine handover with supporting operating and maintenance manuals.
- Certification: you receive certificates of conformity for all relevant guarding and control systems.
