Machine Covers is pleased to offer the TOP line universal safety guard from Repar2. It is a very versatile, mobile guard designed for large milling, drilling and turning machines, and for all types of grinding machine.
Mounting options
The guard can be fixed directly to the machine or mounted on the floor using our optional height-adjustable post, MCL 25400c, which adjusts from 1200mm to 1600mm.
Design and screens
TOP guards have a steel frame fitted with laminated safety glass, or impact-resistant polycarbonate windows on request. A flexible, mobile shaft lets the guard be raised and lowered, swung and tilted into the operator’s chosen position, and a counterbalance avoids any manual handling issues. A range of guard and screen models comes as standard, with LED lighting and different micro switch combinations available.
Interlocking and controls
- Interlocking is supplied as standard with an IP67 safety switch or switches (code 14 MIC003 and MIC004).
- Solenoid interlocking and DC injection braking are optional.
- Our dual-channel safety control panel is also optional, along with an additional e-stop or kick-stop.
Our safety panels contain safety relays and dual-power switching contactors. This gives redundancy and fault tolerance, in accordance with EN ISO 13849-1 for safety-related parts of control systems.
